The area of PDP is 868 cm2, therefore as per Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules,2011, under sub rule (2) & (3) of Rule 7, the height and width of the numerals and letters should not less than 4.0 mm and 1.33 mm respectively. (Excluding the numeral “1” and letters (i), (I) and (l).
The word (U) shall be removed from the declaration of “Net Quantity”.
As per Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules,2011, under sub rule (2) & (3) of Rule 7, the area surrounding the “Net quantity” declaration shall be free from printed information in following manner:
